Congratulations to our friends with the Western Thunder Marching Band on an excellent Friends and Family performance this afternoon! The 235 members of the band played and marched very well - it’s going to be a great year for bands in Laramie!

Congratulations to LHS music student Hannah Redmond on being selected to serve on the Wyoming Arts Youth Council!

While on this board, she will join high school students from around the state in learning about the arts, advocacy, and leadership while shaping the future of arts and culture in Wyoming. We can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish!

Congrats to the LHS Marching Band as they wrapped up their summer band camp today! Lots of marching, FUNdamentals, and playing this week, and finishing things up with the “Drill Down With A Vengeance”!

With sports camps kicking off next week, the next marching band rehearsal will be on August 18th at 6pm. See you all then!

Today was Choir Retreat Day!! We had a wonderful time working on team building, communication, singing, rhythm, and having lots of FUN!! It’s going to be a great year in LHS Choir! I am so excited!!

Big congratulations to Damien Goodman! In addition to completing his first DCI season with the Colombians, placing 6th in the Open Classification, he was also recognized as the Most Improved Brass Member by the organization!

We’re very proud of you Damien - have a great rest of your time in Indianapolis and we are looking forward to having you back in Laramie with us soon!

Congratulations to the Laramie Municipal Band on another great season of summer concerts!

Very fun having 23 members of the band being affiliated with LHS and LMS as either students, parents, staff, or alumni! So happy to see so many people making music a lifelong activity!
