Our kiddos are having an absolute blast with our brand-new light table! It’s more than just a colorful play area – it’s a creative space where they can explore shapes, colors, and let their imaginations shine bright! Watching them piece together designs, explore patterns, and even make up their own stories has been a joy! This table brings out their curiosity and creativity in the best way.

We are so proud of the kids. We have been learning about the habitats that different animals live in. Today we learned about sloths and they all had so much fun. Their projects turned out super cute 🦥

This month, our theme is "Kindness Counts," and today's activity was all about embodying this value through creativity. We made "Bee Kind" bees, a fun craft that allowed our little ones to express their artistic side while learning about the importance of kindness. Each child was so proud of their bee creation, sparking wonderful conversations on how vital it is to be kind to others. Teaching kindness at a young age lays the foundation for empathy and compassion as children grow. It helps them understand the impact of their actions on others, fostering a supportive and caring community from the earliest stages of development. 🖤💛🐝

Today was a special and awesome day!!! All of the kids made qáawsqaws soap. The kids did all of the prep work to make the soap. They all helped wash, clean, and grind up the qáawsqaws. We are all so very proud of the kids and the kids were all very proud of the soap that they made 🧡🧡

Today is a bittersweet day!!!!! Today is Teacher Cassie’s last day at Little Roots. All of us have had the privilege of working with Cassie for the last 3 1/2 years. Cassie is not only a fantastic teacher, co-worker, and friend, but she is also a wonderful mother. We are truly thankful for your service to the kids, families, and community we serve. All of us at Little Roots wish you the best in all your future endeavors💛💙💜💚🧡
