Our 2026 Senior Graduate Spotlight series begins with Lieve! She will be attending Saint Mary’s College, where she plans to study Nursing, a path that fits her heart for helping others and her drive to make a difference.
At La Lumiere, Lieve stepped fully into the life of the school. She served as a prefect, competed as a student-athlete, captained the girls volleyball team, volunteered with the Humane Society, and tried new things like chess and tennis along the way.
Through it all, she learned that trying something new is often half the battle, and that confidence can grow in the unknown.
Lieve shared that La Lumiere taught her how to be an active member of a community, how to lead, and how to use her skills to make the world a brighter place.
Congratulations Lieve! We will be cheering you on, always 🤍

Today, we’re reflecting back on last week’s graduation ceremony and missing our students already.
We are so proud of the Class of 2026, and we hope they carry these words from Andy Webster, Connie Falcone, and Christian Lake with them into everything that comes next:
Do so much work that it would be unreasonable for anyone to think you won’t be successful.
Don’t forget to play.
And above all, remember this:
You are invincible.

Last night, we celebrated our students at La Lumiere’s Convocation.
From academics and athletics to leadership, service, and the arts, we are proud of their hard work and dedication this year.
One of our favorite Convocation traditions is honoring many students with books that were chosen especially for them by their teachers.
We also celebrated the awarding of an ROTC scholarship to one of our students.
Congratulations to all of our recipients!

"What stays with me about La Lumiere is the quiet beauty of the campus and the deeply supportive community that defines it. The relationships formed at La Lumiere endure far beyond graduation."
Our 2026 Commencement Speaker, Connie (Devers) Falcone ’83 P’19, beautifully reflects this sentiment that so many of us hold. Through her journey as an alumna, parent, and former Board Chair, Connie’s care and dedication have helped shape the very fabric of our school.
Next week, we welcome her home to share her wisdom and celebrate the incredible Class of 2026. We are deeply grateful for her enduring spirit and leadership.
