The La Porte County Family YMCA is excited to explore bringing Rock Steady Boxing to our community—a non-contact boxing program designed specifically for people living with Parkinson's. The program focuses on improving balance, strength, mobility, and overall quality of life in a fun, supportive environment.

NEW CLASS ALERT!

The Michigan City Elston Branch is offering a new class for the month of August. Weight Machines 101 with Kerbi will be from 10:15-11:00 AM every Thursday.

Discover the benefits of strength training in a supportive YMCA environment. This Selectorized Strength Training class will help participants gain knowledge and confidence in the weight room while also building muscle. Weight Machines 101 is a full body strength circuit where participants will walk through, learn and use the weight machines.

Research shows that machine-based strength training can:

✅ Increase muscle strength and endurance
✅ Improve balance and functional fitness
✅ Support healthy aging and independence
✅ Strengthen bones
✅ Improve metabolic and cardiovascular health
✅ Provide a safe, beginner-friendly workout experience

⚽Toddler Soccer Clinics!

This fun introductory soccer program helps young children build basic skills through one weekly practice. Participants learn movement, ball control, and teamwork with age-appropriate games and activities that build confidence, coordination, and a love for the game.
