Join the LPHS Student Council on Saturday, May 2 for our 1st official Color Run! Gates will open for registration at 9 AM with kickoff for the race at 10 AM at LaPorte County Fairgrounds. Participants will also receive a free lunch after the run. (Food will also be available for non-participants for a $3 cash only fee.) Everyone is invited! Student Council celebrated the end of the year at Casey's Lanes! Students who earned their credit hours and actively participated in meetings received their chevrons and bars for their Leatherman jackets. We also presented personalized Yeti tumblers to those who were most involved. If you weren't able to join us tonight, please see Mrs. Lowry by the end of the week to collect your awards. Starting on Tuesday, May 27th, the LaPorte High School Student Council will be having a "Riley Week" to raise money for Riley Children's Hospital!

If you are interested in wearing an orange and black Riley's Children Hospital shirts Friday May 30th, all of them are $10 and will be available to purchase during all three lunches. T-shirt orders have to be made no later than May 23rd!

If you want to be included in participating in more fun activities, purchase the Riley $25 bundle where you can get an orange and black Riley shirt, a free coupon for a refresher from the LPHS Coffee Club, a free pass for Hat Day, entering in a hoop shoot competition, and more Riley Children's Hospital goodies! Those who paid for their Dance Marathon ticket are already all set with this bundle!

We hope all Slicers participate in this spirit week and raise money for a great cause!
