Please join us in congratulating Kassidy Durland for her participation in The Outstanding Young Women Competition on Saturday, September 26th. Kassidy worked hard since summer to learn dance routines and more while also giving a powerful speech on her cancer journey at the competition. While she did not place, she certainly made us Griffin Proud.

Bullying Prevention Starts With All of Us! ❤️🖤

Thank you to the families who joined us for Family Engagement Night. Our presenter from the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General shared helpful information about how families can support their children, recognize bullying, and teach students what to do when they witness it.

We’ve taken a layered approach to bullying prevention this year, with training for administrators over the summer, staff at the beginning of the school year, students in grades K–12, and now our families. This free program helps everyone understand their role in preventing bullying and creating a positive school environment.

Preventing bullying takes all of us working together, and we appreciate everyone who is part of these efforts!

Members of this year’s Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council from both the high school and elementary school spent time reading to our younger students. We love seeing our students connect across grade levels, share their love of reading, and serve as positive role models for our youngest Griffins.

Congratulations to Our Young Ladies of Excellence Nominees!

The Sullivan County School District would like to congratulate our five outstanding nominees for this year’s Young Ladies of Excellence Awards that will be held on Wednesday, November 4th at the CAC Theatre in Williamsport! We are incredibly proud of each of these young women and all they have accomplished.
