they just couldn’t let you stay.

on all the lives you touched.

Friends,
After 30 years of caring for children in the Lapeer area, it is with a heavy heart that I am announcing I have given notice and will close this chapter of my life in a few weeks. This wasn’t my plan but my body is rebelling and I have some surgeries coming soon to hopefully ease the pain I’ve had for several years.
Small Wonders has been my number one priority for so long that I don’t know what I will do without kids!im sure I will figure it out as soon as I am able though. Lol
Thank you to all of my children for teaching me so much, and for hugs and love. Please come back to visit from time to time.
Thank you to all parents who have shared and trusted me with their precious children. I love you all like my own.
I will be having a sale on my daycare things in a month or two but if anyone is looking for anything special you can ask about it.
Take care my friends and know I will miss you!

1st task at hand this morning… hot tub… the bubbles forcing themselves against and around my body felt incredible! on my feet, between my toes, my fingers and nails.
Then we jumped in to the outdoor pool (heated of course). Again it felt like a million bucks!
Someone repeated our names after initially meeting. Judy and Teresa. It sounded so familiar.
What’s on my agenda for the remainder of the day? Not pushing anything!
C’est La Vie say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell!

I will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 26. I had hoped to open but I’m feeling overwhelmingly nauseous. Hope to be open Tuesday.

Parents, I am sorry to say I tested positive for Covid tonight. I hope your kids haven’t gotten it from me. I will inform you more as I figure this one out. I was so hoping for smooth sailing for a while!
