Inadequate housing for all.
Do homeless people have a choice? It's called Housing Choice Voucher Program, and pretends to offer people an upgrade from non-standard housing. In actuality there are no choices because there are not units available to choose from.
This is how your state manages the homeless pandemic.

I know this woman. This woman is many. Many are this woman.
This woman has demons like ravens picking at her back, inflicting intense trauma, because she hasn't fully embraced God by not acknowledging Jesus (Yeshua) as the only passage to eternity.
The demons are her history which pursue her like a venomous serpent. They come in droves, taunting her with all the mistakes of her life. She can't get them away. The talons tear into her bones inflicting pain to the depths of the soul.
Relief, surrender, death the hairs of her body scream out with the slightest puff of air, but her screams are silent internal torment.
Relief is through external sources, drugs, alcohol, s*x, friends, applying the toxic salve that fails to bring pleasure.
Surrender, she will hide, isolate, withdraw.
Death, it will not easily give up it's host. It will consume the last particle of spirit.
Doom will overtake her.
Can you love her?

It is called a Trap House for a reason; because the dealer of illicit drugs traps people in such businesses where once you are into such activities, you may find it difficult to extract yourself.
The P2P team is attempting to perform such an extraction of a young lady. These operations are dangerous, costly and take time to achieve. The team has been active for over a week to establish communication and to build trust and confidence of this young woman.
We are requesting urgent prayers and financial support in this effort and others to come. Call 8108345449.

It's here. It's not going away. Addiction is its name and motto. It's deadly to the individual and devastating to society.
People are relational, we seek friendship. When we can't find it in others we seek it in things. We make love to a bottle of demise. Our being is consumed by the lust of pursuit. Nothing else matters but the bliss of oblivion. The future is not a thing to be contemplated. Life is about the now. The victory goes to the destroyer.
Our society cannot stand in it's face. Addiction is a killer, and die we will.

So what should we do now? How do we adapt to the pill-popping society we have embraced? Every emotion or twitch has a fix. Then the fix has a deleterious or unexpectedly harmful effect.
The effects are life-changing; anxiety, depression, anti-social behavior, job loss, homelessness, su***de.
I don't have a fix for this mess.

Everybody is concerned; homelessness, hunger, safety, health. There are solutions, and many people have them. We only have to match up the problems with the solutions. If you have a need or if you have a resource please post it here.

We are actively engaged with homeless and needy individuals every minute of every day or night providing shelter, food, transportation, jobs, and coaching. We serve the alcoholic or the addicted without prejudice. We reach out to those on parol & probation. We protect the abused. We strive for the reconsiliation of families.

TRW, The Right Way to provide asylum for the displaced residents of our communities, the homeless.
There are two kinds of homeless, those that choose to be (the freeloader), and those that have no choice, (the displaced).
It is right for every small town and every large city to care for their own homeless population. In this way no one has to take care of some other communities homeless.
The right way to address homelessness is the grass-roots way. Literally give them a place to grow roots. That is what the homestead laws were all about. Every community needs to develop their own plan and method.
In the toughest cases where homelessness is a preference the individual needs to be forced out of willful self harm. We call this recarceration. Instead of incarceration into a penal culture the person is assigned to reformation into a repentant culture.
There are people providing services and there are those receiving services.
Altogether the people of the receiving community make up a shared resource to be matured into productive contributing members of the society.
The Right Way can achieve zero homeless. The right way is individual by individual, person to person.

This is a direct appeal for people to form a team to support my person to person ministry to hurting people of the community. I created and established the Gathering Place drop-in center for homeless and displaced residents back in 2015. I incorporated this into the Refuge Shelter for homeless and operated the shelter for many years.
Since resigning earlier this year I have taken several months to reevaluate my mission. I have many clients that I am serving in various ways particular to their circumstances, thus the Person to Person ministry.
I need a team that can build an organization behind me. I need facilities and funding. We need many buildings to be serving as safe houses, recovery & rehabilitation centers, family quarters, and no barrier shelters.
We are determined that the proper structure of organization is as a church operating as a missional community. Thus, we welcome a church to become the enveloping body for the mission.
There is an immediate need for plain old dollars funding in order to maintain services to current clients. We are presently in direct face to face contact with more than a dozen clients each week. The nature of the services are necessarily private.
We have formed a steering committee, Wade Jenkins, President, Ashley H. Vice-president & Secretary, Kurt W. Treasurer & Disbursments.
Thank you for contemplating and sharing this request.
