Chapelina Conquers WEC!

We had a very successful weekend with new rider/horse combos, lots of "first timers" and huge gains in the Horse Show IQ department.

Denari stepped up to the 2'6" baby greens. It was her first time seeing that height and jumping oxers. She proudly demonstrated her newly found flying lead changes and popped around for a 4th, 4th and 8th place! 🤍🤍🤎

Then Denari took Kira around her first horse show in YEARS! Kira and Denari are a new partnership... coming to WEC with about 5 rides together. Kira was Denari's first ammy rider at a horse show and Kira held her hand with kindness, understanding and bravery!!!! They rode in the 2ft Beginner Rider divison and came home with a 2nd place and an 8th place ribbon with over 16 other riders in the class!! OH... and Denari helped Kira around her first ever JUMPER class in the .65s!! ❤️🤎

Chapel decided it was time for a comeback at age 25 and Lauren was the extremely brave individual who tackled the queen's request. This pair has been working hard over the summer to help Lauren gain experience in the jumper ring. Lauren is learning to be brave and to be bold, and Chapel has zero hesitation to teach those things!! Together, they brought home a 2nd, 3rd and 6th place in the .65 jumpers out of a very competitive (over 30 entries) divison. ❤️💛💚

Garçon and Sam also had a great weekend after an earlier hiccup in the week caused this partnership to pivot in their plans for the weekend. Garçon has been continuing to educate Sam on refining her riding skills and paying attention to detail. This partnership has seen trial after trial this summer, but finally the pieces clicked this weekend! Sam rode two of her best educated trips with Garçon EVER!!! They had a plan, adjusted exactly as needed, and came out with complete competent courses! Super happy with how this partnership rode and rallied this weekend.... 🩷🩷

Overall, everyone had a great time, we had the best company, the best horses and learned a ton. We nabbed ribbons in 8 of our 12 trips and gained so much more. Congratulations to everyone!

This weekend we traveled to Fox Run for our finals weekend and the horses and riders did not disappoint!

Garçon and Sam had some of their best rounds of the summer this weekend.... bringing home champion in the 2ft and 2'3" jumpers.

The pair was also named Jumper of the Year for the 2026!! Congratulations Sam and Garcon! The hard work is paying off!!

Rosa and Mary had their second show together this weekend. We had so many improvements from the last show and this pair really settled into a rhythm. They came home champs in the xrail hunter and xrail eq divisions!!! Yay!!!

Rosa also stepped up to the plate and was a perfect partner for Makayla. Over the last 10 days, these two had to get to know each other and adjust to one another. It was super teamwork on both ends for these ladies, learning new things on the fly and learning to roll with the punches. Makayla and Rosa came home Champs in the w/t ground pole hunters!!! Whoop whoop!!!

Makayla was also Hunter of the Year for 2026 with her partner(s) Cato and Rosa!

What a great way to end our regular Wildflower Schooling Show Series !! As always, thanks to everyone who makes this series so much fun... it is always a great place to get your feet wet in the show world!!!

Gold star lessons for everyone today in prep for our horse show next week. BUT big shout out to these two specific clients today for tackling SOMETHING NEW!!!

Cato took Micah around his FIRST EVER jump course. We've practiced everything in little bits; his balance, correct turns, using your arena, finding the medium rhythm, Cato's straightness and the idea of how to execute a correct tract around a course. Today... all those little puzzle pieces came together to make a successful first course EVER!! 💙💙 good job boys!

Anna tackled TWO new things at once; a new horse AND jumping her first course in years since having a baby! (Two mommas unite!!!) Denari proved to be super saintly, and Anna the kindest of riders.... together they also did their first Chapelina xrail course. 🩷🩷 what a cute pair!!! Congrats!!

I am so happy to have clients that trust our process here to take things slowly and build from the ground up. And I am always thankful for horses who are honest, trustworthy and kind!

What a great day for these two riders (and horses)!!!

It's official -- we will be hosting our Wildflower Schooling Show Series show for 2 days - July 18th and 19th.

We are having a $250 Jumper Derby on Saturday and an unique Eq Medal Challenge on Sunday! (Both classes will be offered at ALL heights -- so everyone can participate.)

Location is new this year and we are very excited about it...

Yesterday was a day of firsts!!!

This mother-daughter duo have worked hard seperately over the last several months to get strong enough individually to be able to finally achieve one of their goals: their first mother-daughter GROUP lesson.

Rosa and Cato took them around the arena working on posting, courses and balance and then these ladies got to finish their hour lesson going on the trails!

How cool! Yay to Victoria and Kaylee for achieving your first goal of the year!!! 🤗🤗

After a long journey of rebuilding confidence and understanding, today client Eloise was brave enough to jump her first cross rails in a few years!

One of our founding lesson horses, Rosa, hasn't been featured in our socials much lately, so this was the perfect time to show off Rosa jumping too!!

Cheers to both of these hard working ladies! It is paying off!! 💪💪

A shout out to Ana this week on her 2-yr anniversary with Chapelina!!

When Ana first came to Chapelina, she was a shy, timid girl with a big heart for horses. Rosa has taught her that its okay to show strength, stubbornness and body control. Cato has taught her the importance of steering and getting stronger legs and being okay with "i said so".

And for her special day, I asked her "how brave are you today, would you like to try a NEW horse?" So, Miss Ana got to be Denari's FIRST kid ride at Chapelina!!

And look at them go! Ana combined all of her knowledge and confidence she has gained over the last few years to get on a new horse and NAIL IT!

SUPER PROUD of her progress! Its been a pleasure to be apart of Ana's horse journey!
