Our 5th Grade scholars became scientists as they dissected barn owl pellets to uncover clues about an owl’s diet and its role in the food chain! 🦴🔎

Through this hands-on investigation, scholars identified tiny bones and other remains while making real-world connections to predators, prey, ecosystems, and food webs. 🌎🦉

Nothing beats learning by exploring, investigating, and discovering! 🧪✨

Last week, our Kindergarten scholars participated in a special Holocaust Studies presentation from inSIGHT Through Education, focused on age-appropriate lessons about kindness, inclusion, and respect. 💙

Our scholars learned the importance of making everyone feel welcome, appreciating our differences, and treating others with kindness and respect. 🌈🤝

Parents had the opportunity to download and learn more about the RCA House App — our school-wide platform for staying connected, celebrating our Houses, and keeping up with what’s happening at Lantana! 🏠📱✨

Our 5th Grade Science Scholars explored complete metamorphosis with a hands-on lab, using different types of pasta to model each stage of the life cycle: egg → larva → pupa → adult! 🥚🐛🦋

Learning is even more meaningful when our scholars can create, explore, and make connections along the way. 💙
