The Friends of the Library have been working hard this morning! 👏🏻📚

It’s donation day! 🎉 We’ll be at the library until 2:00 PM today accepting donations for the Book Nook and Book Sale. If you have questions, call the library at (913) 727-2929. 📚

October is a busy month at the library! Not only do we have a bunch of fun activities planned, we also have two of our biggest outreach events. 😱

🎃 Lansing's Fall Festival is on Saturday, October 17th and library staff will be there with free pumpkins for kiddos to decorate! Come see us out at Kenneth Bernard Park.

👻 Spooky Center is just a week later! Kids of all ages can enjoy tricks, treats, and more at the activity center. Library staff will be handing out candy in the trick-or-treat village - come see us and check out our costumes!

The city of Lansing is now accepting applications for the Mayor's Christmas Tree Program. To be considered for the program, you must submit an application with all required documentation to the City Clerk's office by noon on Friday, October 23rd. Applications are available from the rack in the breezeway of City Hall. Please direct questions to the City Clerk's office at 913-727-3036.
