Meet Amy. This poor girl needs our help and needs it fast. Her family is planning on having her EUTHANIZED because her Mom had a stroke and Dad doesn't feel he can care for her.

She's located in Bucks County Pennsylvania.

She's 7 years old and 45 lbs.

If she goes to a shelter she will not do well...she's reactive in a kennel environment and with other dogs out of fear. SHE'S A VERY SENSITIVE GIRL WHO LIKES A PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT..NOT THE NOISE AND CEMENT FLOORS OF A SHELTER.

♥️ Amy has so many good qualities to offer. She's very healthy and is completely Housetrained. With people she is affectionate and enjoy visitors who show up with jackpot treats! She's extremely intelligent and would love to learn some new tricks from you.

She has lots of love to offer and her ball fetching skills in the yard are awesome 👌 Just feed and play with her and she'll be your loyal friend and cozy couch companion forever!

Needs to be the only dog.

💔 15 YEAR OLD BLIND & DEAF TYSON WAS SURRENDERED TO ACCT PHILLY FOR BEING ELDERLY‼️🆘

This poor guy was surrendered to the Philly shelter after having the same home since he was 5 weeks old. He was surrendered because his owner said he is an “elderly dog who can’t see or hear...” His owner said he keeps falling down the steps 😞😞😞 He is bald from around the waist down, and needs vet care beyond the shelters capacity. ACCT says he is friendly but has trouble seeing and hearing. He is 46.5 lbs.

Intake: (8/12) Owner Surrender- Healthy of Animal

Medical: (8/16) Vet Check-Patient is a senior dog with severe ocular discharge - r/o KCS vs significant corneal ulcers vs other ocular pathology. Has some recession of globes with entropion that may be a secondary process vs primary issue. Truncal smooth hypotrichosis that is most suspicious for an endocrine issue (Cushing's, hypothyroidism, other), but also has some thickening and erythema of distal limbs and paws which may be indicative of some allergic skin disease as well. Blood in kennel but no active bleeding on exam today, has some superficial scabbed over wounds on paws and face that suspect are the likely source. Patient requires further workup and management beyond capacity of the shelter.

Amen. Saving a dog can also save you as well. Studies show dog owners are happier than non-dog owners. All this assumes we're talking about a sane & kind person. Not an evil, sadistic, SOB.
