Chemotherapy-induced hair loss is one of the most visible and emotionally impactful side effects of cancer treatment. Current solutions, like scalp cooling caps, can be costly, uncomfortable, and inconsistent.

This Tuesday, we will be delving into research that explores a bioengineered hydrogel designed to locally deliver compounds that constrict blood vessels in the scalp—helping protect hair follicles during chemotherapy. 🧬💧
