When your child is melting down, it can feel personal.

The screaming.
The refusal.
The intensity.
The way nothing you say seems to help.

But young children are not designed to regulate big feelings on their own.

Their brains and bodies are still learning how to move through overwhelm.

They need our calm nearby.

Our words.
Our presence.
Our steady boundaries.

When we remember this, something softens.

The meltdown becomes less about defiance and more about support.

Feel more prepared for tantrums, meltdowns, and big feelings here: bit.ly/GENMFreeResources
