Welcome to the new Lewton Global Studies and Spanish Immersion page! We are are thrilled to spend the 2014-15 school year building on our new identity as a Global Studies/Spanish Immersion building! We have set three main goals for this school year:

Supporting our teachers, students and parents by building our relationships and communication in order to help our students achieve. Community Outreach: We will maintain and grow strong relationships with Lansing's diverse communities, agencies, organizations and businesses. Communication: We will identify, improve and implement effective and efficicient communication and support systems to make sure we reach all of our Lewton families and community!

Regular attendance gives students something that cannot be completely recreated later: daily instruction, relationships with teachers, connections with friends, classroom discussions and the confidence that comes from being part of their school community.
