Meowmy is Day 40/5 weeks postop right total knee arthroplasty/replacement! She is slowly getting there. Polly has been a spitfire & has ran over Meowmy's incision causing great pain in the early days and after a few spankings she is being better. I slapped her too mol. I've been a faithful nurse! Sleep is scarce and with the surgery comes a bit of depression, so I'm very adamant that I'm available whenever I am summoned. We hope your Wednesday is going great. I'll share a couple of photos of Meowmy's knee the day she took off surgical dressing and currently. She is healing well, but the extension, flexion, & strengthening are ongoing to get back to normal which is a ways off yet. It can be up to 1-2 years. Meowmy thinks closer to 1 as she is working hard! Well time for a hapoy nappy so I am rested when Meowmy can't sleep in the middle of the night ... Lubs, Panda Jayde 😻🐾💜

Meowmy is day 17 postop right total knee replacement. She had PT Friday & got to 110° flexion/bend and 3° extension/straight! So far so good. She has already taken a walk outside. She also is thinking about all the service members who didn't come home from war. All Gave Some ... Some Gave All

Happy Hump Day TT&I Nation! 7 days ago, at this time, Meowmy was in the OR getting her new knee! It was also found she had an ACL tear, so the surgeon repaired that, gave her a new knee, a new kneecap, & took a pie-shaped wedge of bone from her femur to correct her knock knee/valgus. She has been doing pretty well and has had 3 home PT sessions. Today, her great-niece, Sammi, and Sammi's boyfriend will take her to the facility for her first PT session. She will get measured to see where she is at. Meowmy put in a pickup order at Kroger to get on the way home. Meowmy says the nerve pain is worse than the surgical pain, and op**te pain medication doesn't help, so she doesn't take it and saved it for PT when she will need it. She has a 10-day supply of a nerve pain medication to take at bedtime. She took it last night and did quite well! If the nerve pain lets up before the 10 days, she will stop it. Meowmy is day 4 right total knee replacement. Surgeon also did an ACL repair & removed a pie-shaped wedge of bone as well. She has a lot of pain, but is keeping up with pain med & is doing her exercises like a Champy Pants mol

Happy 10th Birthday to HRH Sedona Polly. She had her favorite Salmon Feast pate and I sang Happy Birthday 😋 💜🐾🥰😻 Meowmy had her right total knee replacement at 9:30 a.m. and home around 3 p.m. I'll add some photos. She had a spinal & nerve block and surgeon said she is on the "honeymoon phase" so big pain is coming in a few days. She is tough & ready! We hope you had a great day! Lubs Panda Jayde 😻🥰🐾💜💉

Happy FunDay Sunday TT&I Nation :) The Mitten State (Michigan, USA) has high winds, chilly temperatures, and rain today. HRH Sedona Polly & I will be taking many siestas. Meowmy is doing laundry and tidying. Yesterday she went back to our old town and got her hair cut and colored auburn like it was when she was a baby :) She did store runs as well. She is hitting the gym every other day to "prehab" for her right total knee replacement scheduled May 6th! We'll have to be "kitty nurses" again this summer to assist as needed mol. I was the better nurse and protected Meowmy's hip incision after her replacement last June because HRH got the zoomies and shot across Meowmy's lap, stepping on her incision 2 days after surgery. Meowmy let out a scream, and I sprang into action mol! We hope eberpawdy has a CATastic and chillaxing Sunday ... Lubs, Panda Jayde 😽😻🐾💜

Happy CATurday TT&I Nation! We are still on the quest to get FaceBUTT to change our page name back to our original name when TT&I started it, but FaceBUTT is having no part of it. We keep sending it, and they keep not changing it! Anyway, Meowmy needs to have a right total knee replacement. Her surgeon is going to use the MAKO robotic approach. Meowmy said he is such a talented surgeon with the most up-to-date technology and her hip has done so well! She will have a bit more pain than the norm because surgeon will also straighten her leg from being knock-kneed, or he said valgus deformity. She is ready though. She is trying to make it to May or June to get passed winter. Otherwise, we are doing CATastic. We want to welcome all of our new followers and LIKES to our page. We are grateful you are here. We're just two rescues, one from a shelter and one that was feral on the side of the road, trying to make people's day a little bit happier all over the world :) We're glad you're here! Happy SUNday TT&I Nation! SUN? What's that? We had a ray or 2 yesterday! Other than that, we haven't seen it in weeks! The last few weeks have been bitter cold in the Mitten State (Michigan) USA! We had as low as -3 with a feels like of -25+ with snow every day the last few weeks! Meowmy is over it. She keeps telling us how it used to be when she lived in Arizona with TT&I. They were both desert cats and didn't like the Mitten State much. We were born and raised here, and we have never been to the desert, but we'd go if Meowmy could afford to go, but she said it costs too much for a mortgage/rent whatever that is. She keeps looking and purraying somehow something appears! Most of USA is having bitter cold temps, lotsa snow, or lotsa ice. Whatever is in your area, we purray you are safe and warm.
