Mama to Kenzee

✨Kenzee had a great Easter morning. She got a basket full of carebears.
Then her daddy dressed as the Easter Bunny for all the kids. She wasn’t fooled… 🤣🤣.. she got another little basket when the boys came down…
How was your kiddos Easter?

✨we did let Kenzee got to her bio-moms for 5 days. She came back and slept for 5 days. I hate that but Kenzee loves her mom no matter what.
We have decided to let her go when we have breaks from school. Not every other weekend.
No matter what kind of mom that woman is Kenzee loves her and deserves to see her. But going to much is bad as Kenzee has some extremely nasty fits when she comes back. So spring break. A few times in the summer and some of Christmas break.
Also the getting her to leave the house has gotten so much worse.
Gosh she fights and has so horrible nasty fits when we leave.
I just don’t understand as she don’t always want to be home and will ask to leave.

✨we decided to start her on some anti-anxiety medication and see if it will help with these OCD problems. We think the OCD is the biggest problem as she will turn into a killer over things being moved.
She also has a rescue medication but it makes her sleep so I don’t like using that one to much.
Iam open to any and all advise in these areas as we navigate some new things.

Sometimes you just need to lay around and annoy the dog… lmao

The last couple weeks have been really hard. The OCD and the anger that comes with it got out of control.
But this week has been a very good week. She has been super happy. Been learning some sign language and finds it very funny.

Still not wanting to leave the house. That is a big problem. So far I have not been able to figure out an easy way to leave. She will get dressed but will not pack her baby bag. Once it is packed and we are walking out the door she is pi**ed.

She will not bring her sippy cup out to eat any longer..

She is not wanting to anything independent. For some reason she wants someone there every second for her to do anything. She has regressed so bad in this department. I just don’t understand nor do I know if we should push the independence or give in.

The self harm has also picked up. When the OCD in high or when we are not doing for her she self harms a lot…
For a few years it was on the low. But gosh it as picked up so much. We did a behavioral plan at school.
And now we will be having a behavioral assessment at home. Hoping we can figure out ways to help her.

We have decided to start and emergency calm down meditation. We got it last week but have not had to use it. We have talked about and anti-anxiety to help with the OCD. But I really hate medication. And since she can’t talk she can’t tell us if it is making anything worse.

But this is a good week and we will take it.
Yesterday she sat and watched a new show with me ( she sang well I watched…lol)

We got a new couch a little over a week ago. Boy is Kenzee loving the corner of the couch. She sits there for hours just signing. ❤️❤️
She is playing with the boys more and more. She loves being with them…

Kenzee had a lovely Valentine’s Day. She got to spend it with her favorite boys. I even tried to give her a cupcake… lol as you can see she wasn’t happy with it…
But she was in such a great mood this past weekend.
Last night was so beautiful outside we got the boys out but Kenzee was not having it. She didn’t not want to walk around. This is gonna take some time. Getting her to change her aftnoons to include walking outside again. But we are up for it.
School is going oh so much better. She is doing great so some of the small changes are working.
Some big changes are not working so well. So we will see how this continues to go.
But for now we have a happy Kenzee!! ❤️❤️❤️
