Lansing School District recently welcomed approximately 35 Michigan State University professors and faculty members for a community bus tour designed to provide a deeper understanding of the neighborhoods, history, schools, and families that make up our district.

Participants visited key community locations, learned about Lansing's rich history, and toured Mt. Hope School, gaining valuable insight into the experiences and strengths of the students we serve.

The event was made possible through the support of Dean Transportation and several community partners who helped showcase the Lansing community and strengthen our partnership with Michigan State University.

The Lansing School District is building a new Sheridan Road School but first we have to say farewell to the old Sheridan Road School.
Join the Lansing community on Wednesday, June 24th, starting at 5:30 pm.
We'll take one last look at a familiar learning space and explore what the new Sheridan Road will look like.
