🌎💚 Happy Earth Day from Lansing School District Special Education! 💚🌎
Today is a great reminder that even small actions can make a big difference—for our planet and for future generations.
In our classrooms and programs, we love finding simple, meaningful ways to celebrate Earth Day with our students—whether that’s learning about recycling, spending time outdoors, creating nature-inspired art, or talking about how we can care for the world around us.
Every student can play a part in protecting our Earth, and we’re proud to support learning experiences that encourage curiosity, responsibility, and kindness toward our environment. 💙
How are you celebrating Earth Day today? Tell us in the comments!

Looking for a fun (and meaningful) summer activity for your animal-loving kid?
Lansing Community College is offering Pet Care Summer Camps for students in grades 4–8! These camps are designed to teach the basics of responsible pet ownership—covering care, nutrition, and what it really means to bring an animal into your family.
Programs like this help build compassion, respect, and understanding for animals from a young age… and we are very here for that. 🐶🐱
If you have a kiddo who loves animals (or one who keeps asking for a pet 👀), this could be a great place to start.
