My name is Jean Reyel Riviere, I was born in Haiti on January 19, 1976. In 1992, when I was 16 years old, I took boat in the hopes of reaching America. On God will I reached Guantanamo Bay first, and spent a short period of time there. Then I was sent to the Mississippi to a refugee camp for a period of time. Finally in November I was sent to Michigan, which was to become my home. I was immediately placed into the 9th grade at Okemos High School, in Okemos, MI. At eighteen I was moved to Lansing, MI and completed my high school education there. I wondered through the next twenty years of my life, making all kinds of wrong decisions and hanging out with the wrong crowds. My heart's desire was to party, and of course these parties contained alcohol, ma*****na and lots of promiscuous women. At this point, society would say my life turned out as a waste. However, for me that was the greatest learning experience in my life. I have made a total of three trips, which has consisted of three different lessons. My first trip was to see and learn about where I am from, since I left at the young age of sixteen. My second trip was for me to see if life in Haiti could be improved for the people of Haiti. My third was to feel their pain and suffering caused by their lack of experience, knowledge and skills to fabricate what many other countries with the same resources manufacture to create jobs for the people of those lands. During my trips, I had the privilege of visiting a 280 acres piece of land which is thought to contain oil and gold. This land/mountain is self ignite and burns for hours even through the rain depending on the days temperature. While I was on that land, I picked up a rock to see what would happen, I squeezed it and it crushed into a white sandy powder, leaving a greasy residue on my hand. All plants growing on this land are much healthier than plants anywhere else within Haiti. The Haitian people nor I are able to understand what is feeding these plants and why they are so much more healthy. I also had the blessing to chat with one of guardians or deed hold and care giver (Mr. Ano) of the land who has been there for over sixty years. He was able to provide me with some information about the valuable resources on/in the land. These resources contained on/in the land would make billions of dollars for the people of Haiti and others around the globe. Ano and the rest of the family members are more than happy to allow the land to be used for the further development and construction of Haiti. Helping to lift the people of Haiti up out of poverty and giving them the ability to have a better life. Thus far, I have many people looking at the idea written in this document. I have recorded documents and written documents of this program I am purposing to launch, however I have yet to secure the sponsors, volunteers and laborers needed. This is where you come in, please say YES! Not only will you help open a new chapter around the globe, but you will be fixing what have been over looked for 100s of years in Haiti. I am a man of heart as God has planned for me to be and I believe you have been hungry once or twice in your life and you and I know, it does not feel good. Now please try to imagine going days without a meal or clean water to drink? You may have children, imagine your child with no clean clothes or even no clothes at all, no shoes, can't go to school and often sick? These are everyday common issues in Haiti and many other countries that the U.S. calls “third world countries”. I have been giving the opportunity, the ability to use the land, the strength and the courage to change that by the grace of God. I have dedicated my life to see this through, for it is the only thing God has in my heart so intensely. From a man who had no dreams and hope for first 36 years of life and now my heart is set to rebuild the broken place and teach the broken minded people of a better day and a better life. Prior to two years ago, I had no love, passion, or care for nobody, not even me and had no dream but to become rich. I often ask myself: How would I get rich without having a dream, hope and faith? Why did I want to get rich or what would it benefit me? My three trips to Haiti changed my attitude when I saw how the people of my own birth land were living on a daily basis, it changed my heart in an instance. The desire to give and help rebuilt people less fortunate is in my heart. Now I desire nothing more than to help defeat the poverty in Haiti and better the lives of the people there. I have come to realize that I need to find people with the same desire in their heart, mind, and spirit to help the poor. I see all the benefits I have in the United States and this has fueled me to get help. Rebuilding and teaching the people of Haiti how the rest of the globe get food of their own. I have learned that utilizing the resources of Haiti could create a large amount of businesses and employ millions in the country and around world. This could open doors to importing and exporting goods we are able to fabricate. I have learned so much in this process and now have the desire to help end poverty in as many countries as possible. By using the resources found in the land and the materials will yelled a large profit for the people of Haiti. Security would be provided by the government of each country and would also request support from the UN to help provide safety and security.
