Today, HB 4556-57 passed the MI Senate on a strong bipartisan vote. The bills eliminate the SAT Essay from the 11th grade MME & remove student SAT scores from their transcripts so MI students can truly apply to college test-optional. Thanks especially to bill sponsors Rep. Tom Kunse and Rep. Matt Koleszar for their work on these bills. This is great legislation and we hope the MI House will concur quickly and send this to the Gov's desk.
