Hi families! Just a quick heads-up that childcare will be CLOSED both before and after school on the last day.

🚫 No before-school care — please do not plan to drop off students before 7:30 AM
🚫 No after-school care — please make arrangements for pickup at dismissal time

What an AMAZING Mileage Club season! 🎉👟

Today marked our final day of Mileage Club with our annual popsicle party! We handed out more than 300 popsicles to our K–7 students — and don’t worry, 8th graders, yours will be waiting when you return from your DC trip! 🇺🇸

This season, our students earned:
🏅 459 foot tokens, water bottles, and other fun prizes
🚶‍♂️ A combined total of 3,067.5 miles walked!

We are so proud of the dedication, energy, and enthusiasm our students showed all season long. Thank you to all of our volunteers, staff, and families who helped make Mileage Club such a success!

The kids are ready to run, but we are 𝑟𝑢𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 very low on volunteers for our FINAL THREE Mileage Club sessions:

🏃 Tuesday (5/19)
🏃 Thursday (5/21)
🏃 Next Tuesday (5/26 - popsicle party)

We would love to finish the season strong, but we need a few more helping hands to make these sessions run smoothly. Even volunteering one time makes a huge difference!

The Winners Were Drawn… But Our Teachers Are the Real Prize! 🍎

Thank you to everyone who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so special! We ended the week with a drawing for three gift baskets (plus ten more teachers won travel themed goodies), but the biggest win is having such amazing teachers and staff in our school community.
