Our AEFL Coffee House was a huge success! We continue to celebrate Adult Education and Family Literacy week with coffee, donuts, and books. Thank you Capital Area District Libraries for the wonderful presentation and Lansing School District and the READ Grant for the donation of books for our adult learners and their families. It was a beautiful gathering!

We have been excited to be back in the classroom this week after an enriching experience in Muskegon at the MACAE - Michigan Adult, Community and Alternative Education Association conference. Several of our Lansing School District Adult Education staff members were able to attend. A heartfelt thank you to the organizers and presenters for providing such a thorough and impactful event, providing our team with invaluable opportunities for professional development and growth.

Such a wonderful morning for our Adult Education program! We just had our first breakfast gathering of the school year followed by a trip to the Lansing General Motors Grand River Plant. We are proud to celebrate Manufacturing Week sponsored by the Capital Area Manufacturing Council. It was a lovely morning for our students and staff to gather and share new experiences. Thank you
