π What an incredible day at the State Tournament! π
Our two Unified Basketball teams competed for the big medals this Saturday, and we could not be more proud. Both teams faced tough competition, but they never gave up, fought hard until the very end, and truly left it all on the court.
We are excited to share that we brought home a State Championship AND a 2nd place finish!!! So amazing!!π₯π₯
Beyond the games, our athletes had an amazing experience participating in Healthy Athletes, enjoying a great lunch, and bringing home some awesome swag and medals.

Today we had the amazing opportunity to take some of our Unified students, YAC students, and staff members to participate in the Polar Plunge! Thanks to their hard work and dedication, we raised over $1,000 to support Special Olympics of Michigan.
We joined several other schools, students, and staff members to take the plunge for a truly great cause. It may have been cold, but our students and staff conquered the freezing water to show their support and commitment to inclusion and opportunity for all.
We are so proud of everyone who participated, thankful for those who donated, and grateful fo those who cheered us on. Weβre already talking about next yearβs plunge! βοΈπ
