We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take a group of our amazing students to Italy this May 2026! 🇮🇹✈️

At Everett, we believe in supporting dreams and providing meaningful exposure for our students. This trip is more than travel, it’s an opportunity to experience new cultures, explore history firsthand, and expand their view of the world.

Our two Everett Unified Basketball teams competed for the big medals last Saturday, and we could not be more proud.

Both teams faced tough competition, but they never gave up, fought hard until the very end, and truly left it all on the court.

We are excited to share that we brought home a State
Championship AND a 2nd place finish in division 6 and 8!!! So amazing!!

Beyond the games, our athletes had an amazing experience participating in Healthy Athletes,
enjoying a great lunch, and bringing home some awesome swag and medals.

It was a fun, memorable day filled with teamwork, determination, and pride. Way to represent Everett!!!

We took the kids on an HBCU Tour, but this was so much more than just a college tour…

We traveled through four different states, stayed in beautiful downtown hotels, and most importantly, exposed them to a whole different level of thinking and living.

They saw students who take pride in themselves… suit coats and ties to class, respect for their elders, opening doors for women, and cleaning up after themselves without being asked. They witnessed a culture of excellence, accountability, and love.

One of our tour guides had just turned 18 and started college at 15. Let that sink in.

We wanted our kids to see “another side”… and they did. More importantly, we watched them WATCH others. You could literally see the shift happening in real time.

They told us this is the path they want to take. Some admitted they had no idea what college life really looked like before this trip. One student even said he’s about to get serious about high school because he can now truly see himself going to college.

And the message was consistent everywhere we went:
An HBCU will change your life forever.

Today we had the opportunity to tour North Carolina A&T as part of our HBCU tour, and WOW, it quickly became an all-time favorite! 🙌🏾

From the campus atmosphere to the programs and overall vibe, our students loved EVERYTHING about the university. So many of them left inspired and excited, with several already expressing strong interest in attending.

Moments like this are exactly why we take these trips, to open doors, spark dreams, and help students see themselves in new spaces. 💙💛

Day 2 of Everett’s HBCU+ Tour took us to the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University. The students were quite impressed with the campuses, student life, food offerings, programs, hospitality, and academics. We have several students who are interested in both schools. A bonus was the great weather. ☀️

Day 1 of the 2026 HBCU+ tour was an amazing experience. Our first stops were Wilberforce University and Central State University in Ohio. We had a wonderful experience and both schools attracted the attention of our students.
