The 6th Grade Student Leadership Council Members sponsored a tree in Kennedy Park for the holiday. The theme is ”Bee Kind”. All students at PVIS wrote their name on a hive that was attached to the tree. The tree lighting program is scheduled for this Sunday at 4 pm. The 4th Grade Chorus will also be singing at this event A special thank you to Mrs. Meredith Alabovitz who leads the Student Leadership Council Members. 💛🖤💛

You should have received an invitation via text or email to join ParentSquare. Panther Valley will be using ParentSquare as the main method of communication for all schools. Please download the app onto your phone, as that will ensure you can use all the features of ParentSquare. Follow the directions provided via text or email to activate your account. It is important to note that weather emergencies and any other school closures will be communicated via ParentSquare. It is important that you activate your account. Once ParentSqure is running effectively we will no longer be using Class Dojo, Facebook, or any other public facing methods to communicate information. Panther Valley Intermediate School will hold Open House on Thursday, August 21st from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. We are doing something new this year as our 4th and 5th grade faculty will hold a parent session to present information to parents as a group at the times specified below. Please do not worry if you cannot be at the parent session, information will still be made available as you walk around and meet the teachers. Homeroom lists will be posted as you enter the building for Open House.
We are so excited to welcome our students back for the 2025-2026 school year!

Over the past few years we have had families ask about a before and afterschool program available to families in the area due to parent/guardian work schedules. We already offered the SHINE after school program to students and are looking at other options that families might find valuable. 

Narrow Valley Sports and representatives from the district had a meeting to discuss a before school/afterschool program. We put together a survey to determine the level of interest in these programs for students and grades K-6.

If you think you may be interested in before school programming, after school programming, or both, please complete the survey located on the Panther Valley Elementary School Facebook page.

Narrow Valley Sports and the district discussed some other great partnership ideas that we plan to share throughout the year.

The Panther Valley School District has received approval from the PA Department of Education to utilize Flexible Instruction Days (FID) as an alternate approach to delivering instruction if a circumstance arises that prevents instruction in customary manner. Panther Valley School District has a 2 hour delay on Tuesday, February 18th.

Also, if you are signed up for Breakfast with the One You Love, 4th grade (Walker, McArdle, Fitzgerald and Romanchik), it will now be held on Wednesday, February 19th.
