✨ The excitement is building as we count down to the first day of school on Wednesday, August 26! 🍎📚

This evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming many of our new families to SS. Cyril & Philomena School. Parents had the opportunity to learn more about school life, uniforms, tuition and payment options, and most importantly, meet some of our wonderful faculty and staff.

We are so grateful that you’ve chosen to become part of our school family, and we can’t wait to welcome our students through the doors in just a few weeks. Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead! ❤️💛

What an incredible turnout for National Night Out! 🚓🚒🚑 Lansdowne brought together the East Lansdowne and Yeadon communities, along with our local Police, Firefighters, and EMTs. It was wonderful connecting with neighbors, local agencies, and libraries. SS Cyril Philomena School was thrilled to meet so many new families and share what makes our school community so special! 💙✨

65 years later… still making a difference! 🎉

During their 65th Reunion celebration, the amazing St. Philomena School Class of 1961 chose to give back by collecting donations to support current students at SS. Cyril & Philomena School. Representing the class, lifelong St. Philomena Parishioner Don Doyle presented a $600 donation for tuition assistance to Principal Sean Gallagher, Pastor Paul Castellani and Vice Principal Stephanie Scruggs.

Thank you for helping continue the tradition of Catholic education in Lansdowne and for giving today’s students the same opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in faith-filled classrooms.

A beautiful reminder that the St. Philomena spirit lives on through every generation. 💙💛🙏
