📚💛 Buddy Time! 💛📚

Our 8th graders kicked off their new partnership with our 1st graders at Lansdowne’s Sycamore Park, home to the famous Sycamore tree! 🌳

The first graders brought along their favorite books for their 8th grade buddies to read to them, followed by some fun games and plenty of time to get to know each other.

A little reading, a little playing, and a whole lot of buddy fun! 📖🎲💛

We can’t wait to see where this special partnership takes them throughout the year!

Today, the SS. Cyril & Philomena community gathered together for our first First Friday Mass of the school year. It was a beautiful way to come together in faith, prayer, and community as we begin another wonderful school year.

May God bless our students, families, faculty, and staff throughout the year ahead! 🙏⛪️

SS. Cyril & Philomena — growing together in faith, learning, and love! ❤️💛

We still have wonderful spots open across Kindergarten through 6th grade! If you know a family who might be a great fit for our school community, we’d love to hear from you.
Reach out to Student Admissions and Enrollment to learn more about available seats.

And here's something exciting for our existing families -our family referral program lets you earn up to $500 in tuition credit when you refer another student to any IMS school.
It's our way of saying thank you for helping us grow our community!

🎒 Backpacks, Big Hearts & A Whole Lot of School Pride! ❤️💛

A huge THANK YOU to Brinker Simpson & Company for stopping by SS. Cyril & Philomena School today with a wonderful gift for our students!

Through their employee school supply drive, BSCO donated 10 fully loaded backpacks filled with school supplies to help our students start the new school year ready to learn. We are so grateful to be included in this amazing initiative once again!

Principal Sean Gallagher and Assistant Principal Stephanie Scruggs were on hand to welcome the BSCO team and accept the generous donation on behalf of our school family.

And what made today’s delivery extra special? Two of the three BSCO employees making the connection are proud SS. Cyril & Philomena alumni!

⭐ Alex Jones — Class of 2004
⭐ Kellie McShane-Harris — Class of 1979
⭐ Tony Mitchell — Class of 1971, who was back at the office but very much part of the team!

There’s something pretty special about seeing our former students come full circle—returning to their school community and helping make a difference for the next generation of students. ❤️

Thank you, BSCO, for your generosity, kindness and continued support of our school family. Once a Cyril & Philomena student, always part of the family! 🎒📚❤️

✨ The excitement is building as we count down to the first day of school on Wednesday, August 26! 🍎📚

This evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming many of our new families to SS. Cyril & Philomena School. Parents had the opportunity to learn more about school life, uniforms, tuition and payment options, and most importantly, meet some of our wonderful faculty and staff.

We are so grateful that you’ve chosen to become part of our school family, and we can’t wait to welcome our students through the doors in just a few weeks. Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead! ❤️💛

What an incredible turnout for National Night Out! 🚓🚒🚑 Lansdowne brought together the East Lansdowne and Yeadon communities, along with our local Police, Firefighters, and EMTs. It was wonderful connecting with neighbors, local agencies, and libraries. SS Cyril Philomena School was thrilled to meet so many new families and share what makes our school community so special! 💙✨
