We are excited to announce that we have one *part time* spot available (2 or 3 day option) for a young toddler (14-24 months) to join our class! We are inspired by the Montessori method which promotes independent growth and seeks to follow the child as they learn about themselves and the world!

This new year called for a need of a new friend in our home care! We have ONE spot available immediately in our little family and would love to see if your little one would be a good fit.

Our primary goal is to foster and enhance each child’s natural sense of joy and wonder. We feel that children should delight in childhood, that the school day should include laughter and the buzz of creativity. This is what brings children to life! We have also adopted a School Readiness program for preparation of kindergarten 📚😄

Sensory tables were so important to our set up because of all the wonderful benefits we know about sensory play! 👃🏼👁👂🏼👅🖐🏼

When a child is born, their senses aren’t fully developed. They only mature over time as babies, toddlers, and preschoolers explore the sensory world around them. Each new experience they have with a different sense builds nerve connections that grow the architecture of their brain.

This can also be done at home with a bucket and different material that will bring their senses to life! Has anyone created their own sensory bins? Drop a pic below to share, maybe we’ll use it here at Loudoun Sprouts 🤩❤️

Our reading and creative drawing area! 📚 ✍️

Each of these areas serve the purpose to allow our little ones to explore their interests! While many of them may not know how to read, it’s great to associate the formations of letters with pictures, and opens their interest up to letters, reading, and writing!

Drawing with chalk and markers is a favorite, and we love to see what they come up with! A child’s imagination is endless!

Our infant area has been prepared with toys that will capture attention, cater to tummy time, crawling and those first steps! They explore their environment and learn all the things they can do! 😊

Loudoun Sprouts is a high quality home-based daycare that will ensure the personal care of your loved one. We are inspired by Maria Montessori’s method of following the child in their own interests and curiosities!

We are also happy to follow the curriculum of the School Readiness Program of Virginia in order to prepare your little ones for school while teaching them letters, shapes, numbers, and more! Along with this education, we teach practical life skills such as cleaning, washing hands, pouring, and many other skills. We work closely with the children to grow and learn as they were our own.

Loudoun Sprouts providers and teachers are COVID vaccinated, CPR and First Aid certified. Loudoun Sprouts is currently in the process of becoming a licensed home daycare through Virginia Department of Education.
