Now this was a little different. 👀
After watching these amazing warriors execute their skills all day, I decided to take them to the other end of the martial spectrum.
I introduced them to energy work—Chi Kung.
Needless to say, it was well received.
My goal was to encourage them to seek balance in their training and develop a deeper mind/body connection.
I said to them, “We spend decades learning how to DESTROY the body. Now let’s focus on how to heal and cultivate the body through stillness and breath work.”
The interplay of internal and external training is the way of the Warrior.
