Peace begins when people are willing to truly see one another. In Baltimore, the Global Peace Foundation is working with residents, leaders, and law enforcement through the Baltimore Cross Community Reconciliation Project to heal divides and build unity.

One participant reflected, "Fear and guilt are what is keeping us from talking to each other. We are territorial in Baltimore, so we need to expose ourselves to each other."

Through honest conversations, shared meals, and collaborative service, participants are discovering that reconciliation is not only possible but transformative. What begins with dialogue grows into trust, empathy, and action that ripple across the city.

This is how lasting peace is built; one relationship at a time. Discover the full story and the lessons that can inspire your community too: https://globalpeace.org/global-peace-foundation-charts-a-new-path-to-peace-and-reconciliation-in-baltimore/

"College students should care about Korean reunification because we have a responsibility to understand global issues and help create opportunities for others."

Students from the University of Washington shared why Korean reunification matters not only for Korea but also for the future of global peace. A unified Korea could become more than a political breakthrough. It could be a living example of reconciliation, hope, and the power of shared humanity.

In a time marked by uncertainty, Korea has the potential to shine as a powerful symbol of what peace can look like and what becomes possible when we move beyond deadlock and choose a new future.
