Japan is becoming increasingly multicultural, and fostering understanding among diverse communities has never been more important. Through initiatives like the Multicultural One Family Festival, Japan, led by Aya Goto, is bringing together Japanese and international residents to celebrate diversity, build lasting relationships, and revive shared social values.

Beyond domestic harmony, GPF Japan also engages with the Korean diaspora to promote reconciliation and support the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula. Guided by the vision of "One Family Under God," these programs educate youth and communities, empower dialogue, and create pathways for lasting peace.

Peace isn't built in a day—it's built every day.

A young person planting a tree. Volunteers bringing light to a community. Friends from different backgrounds choosing dialogue over division. Families growing stronger, one relationship at a time.

Across the world, GPF youth are proving that peace is not a general idea—it’s something we create through service, kindness, and shared purpose.

Which small action can make a difference in your community today?

Nigeria’s work in interfaith dialogue and community mediation was recognized as Country Director, Rev. John Joseph Hayab and GPF Nigeria Northern Coordinator Sheikh Halliru Abdullahi Maraya were honored as Alternative Dispute Resolution Ambassadors. The recognition highlights their long standing commitment to peacebuilding, moral leadership, and reconciliation in communities affected by religious and ethnic divisions.

The honor reflects a broader effort to make justice more accessible through dialogue, mediation, and community-based approaches that restore relationships rather than deepen conflict. From resolving disputes outside the courtroom to nurturing young peacebuilders through school-based initiatives, these efforts show how justice and peace can grow together.
