The theme for our week in Cub Camp was Crafty Creations! 🌟

Our Cub Camp friends had an artsy and creative week filled with fun! We went on our last walking trip of the summer to Build-A-Bear, stayed cool during our exciting water play days, and had a splashing good time playing together and making memories with our friends.

Throughout the week, we got creative with sand art necklaces, decorated slime, and enjoyed plenty of opportunities to explore our imaginations and show off our creativity. From crafting to water play, every day was filled with laughter, smiles, and summer fun!

Our Cub Campers enjoyed another exciting week filled with creativity, imagination, friendship, and unforgettable summer memories. We can’t wait to see what adventures our final week of Cub Camp will bring! ☀️🎨💦

This past week, our preschoolers had fun learning all about letters and numbers!

Our class focused on letter recognition, counting, and becoming more familiar with the alphabet through lots of hands-on activities. We enjoyed reading Dr. Seuss’s ABC and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, worked on letter and number puzzles, and played a fun game of Letter Musical Chairs!

Our preschoolers learned a catchy song about letter sounds to help build their early literacy skills. When we weren’t busy learning, we headed outside for a refreshing nature walk and had a blast cooling off at the splash pad and playing in the sprinklers!

It was a fun-filled week of learning, exploring, and making wonderful memories together!

🌊🐠 This past week, our Twaddlers dove back under the sea to learn how to sing underwater! 🎶🌊 Yes, you heard that right… UNDERWATER! 🤿

Our little ocean explorers went to music class with some of the best vocalists under the sea—whales, dolphins, and baby belugas! 🐋🐬 It’s amazing to hear all the incredible sounds these ocean animals can make!

We used our imaginations to discover what it might be like to make music beneath the waves. We hummed, whistled, squeaked, and chirped like underwater creatures, while pretending to be diving whales, playful dolphins, snuggling baby belugas, and other amazing sea creatures. 🐠🐬🐙

Through music, movement, stories, and hands-on activities, Twaddlers had a 'fin-tastic' time exploring the sounds and wonders of life beneath the ocean waves! ⭐

Toddler Two talked all about pool noodles this past week!

Our class started off the week discussing how we can use pool noodles in the water to help us float. We can also use them for crafts or art projects. Everyone agreed that it's a lot of fun to talk through one end and friends can hear us at the other end!

Pool noodles can be used in the water as boats, or we can use them on land like binoculars. We thought both ideas were good! Our toddler two class had lots of fun using pool noodles to make creative art projects. We made boats to sail in our water play tables! The children also made fish to swim in our water play tables. We loved making bubble blowers out of them using straws.

Everyone enjoyed getting a little messy while painting with the pool noodles, and we had fun making binoculars to take on our nature walk to look at the birds, leaves and planes in the sky!

Pool noodles are used all summer long... We are sad that Summer is approaching the end, as our Toddler Two class has been having so much fun together!!

This past week in the Toddler room, our theme was everything Hawaiian!

During circle time, the kids enjoyed singing their ABCs and counting how many flowers they saw. We enjoyed reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Little Blue Truck.

During art time, the children had lots of fun creating their own colorful flowers with markers and making snow cones using dot art. For gross motor skills development, the children enjoyed building an obstacle course and water play. For our sensory activities, everyone loved playing with Play-Doh and bubbles.

Our toddlers had a fun filled and exciting week together!

This past week in Cub Camp, our theme was Camp Hollywood! 🌟

Our Cub Camp friends had a star-studded time during our eighth week together! We kicked off our Hollywood adventure by walking the red carpet like true celebrities. Campers also enjoyed a fun-filled movie day, stayed cool during our exciting water play days, and had a splashing good time with all of their friends!

Throughout the week, we created colorful water bead art, designed our own Hollywood Walk of Fame stars, and spent plenty of time laughing, playing, and making lasting memories together.

It was another exciting week filled with creativity, imagination, friendship, and summer fun. We can't wait to see what adventures our final two weeks of Cub Camp will bring! Why does the summer have to fly by when we're all having so much fun together? 🎬⭐

Our Preschool class discussed opposites and rhyming words!

The first half of the week we talked about rhyming words. Everyone enjoyed reading several entertaining Dr. Seuss books and then we made a rhyming word ice cream cone!

The second half of the week we learned about opposites! We talked about our left and our right, and what makes two words opposite. The children made a craft that showed dirty hands compared to clean hands and created another that compared a full bubble gum machine to an empty bubble gum machine.

The weather was beautiful this past week, which enabled the children to play together outside and have lots of fun together! Everyone also enjoyed water play and the splash pad too!

Our prechoolers are soaking up the sun during these last few weeks of summer!
