Discovering the Joy of Music at OLG! 🎶

Our Lady of Grace students enjoyed a hands-on musical demonstration presented by Northeastern Music Programs! 🎺🎻🥁

Students had the opportunity to see and hear ( and try ) a variety of instruments and learn about the many options available to them as they consider taking part in our school’s instrumental music program.

From flute, clarinet, saxophone, and trumpet to trombone, baritone, bells, snare drum, and violin, our students got an exciting introduction to the world of making music!

Music is a wonderful way for children to build confidence, creativity, discipline, and teamwork , all while discovering a new talent and having fun. We loved seeing our students so engaged and excited to explore the possibilities! 🎵

Thank you to Northeastern Music Programs for visiting OLG and inspiring our students through music! Interested ? 🎶Please check out the virtual parent meeting being offered , Monday September 14th. At 6:30 pm. Brochures should have gone home Friday with the children as well as information in the weekly school memo.

⚽️🐊 What a beautiful day to kick off CYO soccer season with our OLG Gators!

Our Kindergarten and First Grade team started the season strong, dominating Saint Mike’s with a 3–0 win! Goals by Cameron , Dharia and Eddie helped secure the victory for the Gators! 💚⚽️

Our Novice team battled through a hard-fought game against local rival St. Bede’s. This group of players worked hard, showed great determination, and is already showing so much promise for a great season ahead!

Our Little Kickers preschool program also had a wonderful day learning about the game of soccer, building new skills, and most importantly having fun! ⚽️

The snack stand had a productive day raising money to support our CYO program, and we are so thankful for all of the wonderful spectators, parents, and family members who came out on such a beautiful day to cheer on our school and support our athletes!

🧠🧪✨ A little building, a little problem-solving, and a whole lot of learning!

Yesterday, our 5th graders brought math and science to life through hands-on creating, experimenting, and plenty of teamwork!

From putting their problem-solving skills to the test to creating one VERY long chain 😂, these students proved that some of the best learning happens when you roll up your sleeves and have a little fun along the way! 💕📚

❤️🤍💙 Little Patriots with Big Hearts ❤️🤍💙

Today, our OLG students proudly wore their red, white, and blue as we honored and remembered the lives lost on September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

First grade in particular showed their Patriotism on Patriot Day as they discussed how helping and caring for others can make our communities so strong! ❤️🤍💙 🇺🇸

They may be little, but the children’s hearts at OLG are full of love for our country. Days like today give us the opportunity to teach our students about remembrance, gratitude, unity, and the many heroes whose courage and selflessness will never be forgotten.

Seeing our halls filled with red, white, and blue was a beautiful reminder that even our youngest students can help carry forward a spirit of patriotism, kindness, and love of country. ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 We Will Always Remember.

September 11, 2001 is a day forever etched in our hearts and in the history of our nation.

For so many of us, we can still remember exactly where we were when we heard the news … the disbelief, the heartbreak, the fear, and the way our country came together in the days that followed.

Today, we pause to remember the innocent lives lost, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, the families forever changed, and all those whose lives were impacted by that day.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We pray. And we will never forget. 🇺🇸🙏

🍧💙 SCHOOL SPIRIT IS IN FULL SWING! 💙🍧

Yesterday, we kicked off our first official School Spirit event of the year with a sweet night at Rita’s! 🎉

Yummy treats, lots of smiles, great company, and SO much school spirit made for the perfect way to start the year! 🍦✨ It was wonderful seeing our school families come together, have some fun, and support our amazing school community.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and joined us! We loved seeing all those happy faces…. and we’re just getting started! 🙌💙

🔬 Exploring the Microscopic World! 🧫

Our middle school scientists headed into the lab to learn how to use compound microscopes! Students practiced focusing and adjusting magnification while getting an up-close look at a beetle leg, dog esophagus, sunflower stem, and connective tissue.

It was an exciting hands-on opportunity to see structures and details that are invisible to the naked eye. Science looks a whole lot different under the microscope! 🔬🧪🌻

✨ A beautiful day for a beautiful first school Mass! 🙏💙

What a wonderful way to kick off the new school year, coming together as a school community to celebrate our first Mass of the year! ⛪✨

We are so grateful to begin this new chapter surrounded by faith, friendship, and the joy of being together. Here’s to a school year filled with many blessings, special memories, and lots of reasons to celebrate! 📚✏️🙏
