My name is Katherine Stogner, and I am so grateful and honored to be a Senior Class Homecoming Representative. I am the daughter of Michael and Jennifer Stogner of LaGrange, Georgia. Throughout my years at Springwood, I have loved being involved in our school and having the opportunity to serve alongside my classmates. This year, I serve as Leo Club President, Senior Class Secretary, National Honor Society Historian, and SGA Parliamentarian. I am also a Varsity Cheerleader and a member of Fellow Christian Athletes. Outside of school, I am an active member of First Baptist Church of LaGrange and the LaGrange Youth Council. After graduation, I plan to attend Samford University or Auburn University and major in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Go Wildcats! 🐾

Hi! My name is Emily Sands, and I am honored to be a Senior Class Homecoming Representative. I’m from Lanett, Alabama and the daughter of Patrick and Sara Sands. I am a Charter Member of the Class of 2027! I currently serve as the Senior Class President, National Honor Society Treasurer, Leo Club Board Member, SGA Representative, and a member of the LaGrange/Troup County Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership. I also serve as the Varsity Cheer Captain and have been cheering on the Wildcats for over 12 years! Last year, I was honored to be the Girls Varsity Soccer Captain. Next fall, I will attend Auburn University and major in Elementary Education. Springwood has allowed me to experience many incredible opportunities, and I am so very thankful for all of the wonderful memories. Go Big Red! ❤

Service is a core value here at Springwood, and we love seeing our students giving to others in our school, our community, and across the globe. Students in NHS and Leo Club have recently been volunteering at Bike MS, Huguley Elementary School and in our lower school!

Take a peek inside our STEM classroom 👀
Students in Mrs. Vaughan’s Engineering class recently designed and built beam bridges using spaghetti noodles - then put them to the test. Along the way, they explored different types of forces and how they impact structures. After careful planning and construction, every bridge held over 9 pounds, with the strongest reaching an impressive 18 pounds! 💪 🌁
