IMPORTANT HOMECOMING UPDATE!
Our Alumni Party has been canceled because of the potential for severe weather on Saturday. If we can reschedule in the near future, we will let you know ASAP. The Homecoming game is still happening tomorrow, but is being held earlier. We hope you'll be able to join us for the game! Please read this message from Allyson Matthews, our Head of School.

Dear Springwood Family,

Due to the projected impact of Hurricane Isaias on our area, including the potential for heavy rain, strong winds, and severe weather, we are making an adjustment to our Homecoming schedule out of an abundance of caution. The safety of our students, families, fans, and staff is always our highest priority.

The Homecoming football game, originally scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, will now begin at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Please note the revised schedule for Homecoming:

4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time — Cat Cage Opens

5:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time — Homecoming Court
5:50 p.m. Eastern Standard Time — Alumni Presentation
5:55 p.m. Eastern Standard Time — National Anthem & Prayer
6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time — Football Kickoff

Halftime- JV and Varsity Cheer

The Cat Cage will open at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time so families and fans can enjoy food and fellowship as we begin the evening's festivities.

We understand that changes to the schedule can be inconvenient, and we greatly appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we continue to monitor the weather. Our goal is to allow our students and families to enjoy Homecoming while also taking appropriate precautions in response to the forecast for Lanett and the surrounding area.

Thank you for helping us make the safety of our Wildcat Family a priority. We look forward to celebrating Homecoming together and cheering on our Wildcats!

Go Wildcats!
