This week at LMS: On Monday, Volleyball travels to Blacksburg. They will host the first round of the Conference Tournament on Wednesday. Thursday is make-up picture day; select 8th-graders will take the PSAT; and D-Team Football is at Sims. On Friday, Chick-fil-A biscuits will be for sale in our morning car line. $5 each while they last! Friday is also the last day to order an FFA hat for $20, and it's a hat day. Bring $1 (or more) to wear your favorite hat. These hat days are sponsored by our FFA and are a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Congratulations to our RED Faculty Member of the Month, Coach Tripp Searcy, and to our RED Staff Member of the Month, Nurse Kim Hess! They are both so deserving. Here's what their colleagues had to say:

This week at LMS: On Monday, Volleyball travels to Woodruff. They take on Polk at home on Tuesday. Tuesday is also our last Too Tired Tuesday of the semester. Bring $2 and wear your pajamas to school! On Wednesday, Student Council candidates will give speeches during a special assembly, with the election held immediately following. On Thursday, our 6th graders will take a field trip to Cowpens National Battlefield, and D-Team Football will play Sims at LHS. On Friday, there is no school for students.
