Did you know that music is a disciplined form of communication?
That’s right! Music has the power to stir one’s soul, bridge cultural differences, make us laugh or cry, reduce stress, create memories, and inspire our imagination. It can also help students score higher on reading and spelling tests, as well as sharpen motor and listening skills.
Does that make it supernatural? Yes!
Back to Basics Music Academy (BTBMA) believes the power music has to transform lives and make our world a better place to live. And we’re encouraged every day by our students who trust us to help them be better musicians and better world citizens.
BTBMA works with a team of Christian music professionals who bring their academic skills from major universities all over the country and hold themselves, and us, to a high standard of excellence.
The good news? We take students from age 5 to adult, offering private instruction in voice, piano, drums, bass and lead guitar, audio engineering, and studio recording.
But it’s not all about technique and learning the fundamentals.
We strive to help our students better understand where their music skills and knowledge can apply in the real world, either as a music professional or to ignite ancillary musical endeavors and passions.
