Our annual “Steer Your Career” event is coming up September 29 at the Rowan County Fairgrounds, and we’re inviting businesses and community partners to help us showcase the incredible careers available right here in our community! 🚛🚜

This event is designed for ALL 6th-grade students across Rowan-Salisbury Schools to explore careers through hands-on experiences and conversations with local professionals.

Do you have a branded work vehicle, utility truck, tractor, food truck, emergency vehicle, or other specialized vehicle that represents your career? We’d love for you to join us and spend the day inspiring students and sharing what you do!

Go Outside Grants are now open. North Carolina educators can apply for up to $5,000 to fund field trips that connect students with outdoor learning experiences and hands-on education.

North Carolina public and private K-12 schools and nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. Grant funding supports trips to parks, recreation areas, outdoor education centers, historical sites and other destinations that include an outdoor learning component.
