Learn to Climb Fremont County

This site has been pretty dormant and thought I would share what we’ve been up to these past few years.
Summer 2021 I moved all climbing from Lander Parks and Recreation to Central Wyoming College Alpine Science Institute. Since then we have partnered with Lights On-Fridays in June and July, LMS student council LVHS freshman Orientation, Pathfinder PE Classes, Gannett Peak Elementary 5th grade class, to bring climbing to Lander kids.

We still offer climbing classes through all of our LEAF camps, Camp Popo Agie and Saturdays Little Monkey classes but leave it to the local guide service to fulfill the need for visitors who want to climb.

Summer Youth Programs CWC Lander and Alpine Science Institute are offering a full line up of summer camps and classes for youth of all ages. If your kids love to get outside, explore nature, and maybe get a little dirty, then these classes are the ticket to a summer of fun!
