We are so excited about the current board, but just because it's new doesn't mean we shouldn't pay attention still.

This month they meet in Dubois, so you can join via zoom if you don't want to make the drive.

August 18th is the primary election (early voting is happening now!) in Wyoming and your vote matters!

County Commissioners decide the futures of our libraries. Be sure to vote for commissioners who will uplift and support Fremont County Libraries!!

NOVEMBER BOARD MEETING MOVED

To Nov 12 at 9:30 am, due to the normal week being the day after the general election. This move is to relieve stress for county employees.

The board voted to abandon the current revisions to the materials acquisition policy. The reasoning was based on several factors including lack of guidance from Attorney Nathan Maxon, and concerns regarding the intent and practice of the policy itself, which new members saw as potentially punitive toward the library director and not the direction they saw as appropriate. New board members want time to consider the policy and it's implications in relationship to any other upcoming changes.

If and when this returns to the agenda, we will let you know.
