Something I’ve been thinking about lately is how fortunate I am with the team we’re continuing to build at Mazik Group.

There are people stepping into additional responsibilities. People being patient and flexible when their role requires a little more than expected. People focused on building strong relationships within their schools. And, maybe most importantly, people simply showing up consistently and being reliable.

That might sound basic, but it matters.

We work in environments where students, families, teachers, and school teams need to know that the people supporting them are going to be there, communicate, follow through, and do what they say they’re going to do.

That is something I take a lot of pride in, and I’m incredibly fortunate that the people we’ve brought onto this team seem to share that mindset.

There have already been a lot of examples of people going above and beyond this year, and I’m excited about the reputation this group is continuing to build.

A lot can change in a year.

Last year, Mazik Group started the school year with just me. Today, we’re heading into a new school year nine strong.

The growth is exciting, but what I’m most proud of is the group of people we’ve brought together and the work we get to do alongside one another.

We’re incredibly grateful to Kennett Consolidated School District for the continued trust, partnership, and opportunity to support its students, staff, and schools.

There are always unknowns when you’re building something, and a lot has changed over the past year. I’m proud of how far we’ve come, grateful for the people who have helped us get here, and excited to keep building.

A special shoutout to Anahi for an incredible start as a school-based Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with Mazik Group!

In just a short time, she has jumped into the role with initiative, accountability, and a genuine willingness to help wherever needed. She has shown strong ownership, found ways to contribute, and embraced the work with a positive attitude.

These are the kinds of team members who help build strong school partnerships and supportive environments for students. We are grateful to have her with us and excited for what is ahead!

Ron founded Mazik Group with a simple goal: provide high-quality, relationship-driven behavioral and educational support that truly feels embedded within the school community.

With over 13 years of experience supporting students, staff, and school teams, Ron has worked across a wide range of educational settings, helping schools build practical systems that support both student success and staff growth. His background includes behavioral consultation, special education collaboration, staff training, functional behavior assessment, and school-based behavioral support.

What started as an idea has quickly grown into a team-focused organization built around responsiveness, trust, and long-term partnerships with schools and families.

Outside of work, Ron is heavily involved in the local community through youth sports coaching, mentoring, and family activities. That same coaching mindset continues to shape the culture of Mazik Group today: support people well, communicate honestly, and keep growing.

We’re excited to welcome Samantha Hampton to Mazik Group.

Sam joined us this week and has been strong right out of the gate. She brings years of experience, a solid knowledge base, and a level of professionalism that shows in how she supports students and collaborates with teams.

What stands out early is her reliability and consistency. Those are core to the work we do, and she’s already demonstrating both in a meaningful way.

At Mazik Group, we focus on building dependable, high-quality support within schools, and Samantha is a great example of what that looks like in practice.

Looking forward to the impact she’ll continue to make and where this path takes her.

We’re excited to welcome Gina to Mazik Group as a School-Based PCA.

Gina brings strong experience, reliability, and a consistent, professional approach to her work. She shows up prepared, stays committed, and brings the kind of steady presence that makes a real difference for students and teams.

She’s also continuing her growth on the RBT pathway, which aligns with how we build from within and focus on long-term impact.

This is a few months old, but it’s something I keep coming back to.

I know making a change or stepping into something different isn’t always straightforward. There’s a lot that can hold you back, even when you’ve already put in the work.
