🥞🔬 Flipping into science at RB Stewart Middle DELTA Academy! 🔬🥞

Last Thursday, our students explored the Science of Pancakes through a fun lesson on the states of matter! They discovered how ingredients change between liquids, solids, and gases during the cooking process while learning the science behind their favorite breakfast. 🧪✨

To top it all off, students enjoyed delicious pancakes with maple syrup after the lesson—a sweet ending to a fun, hands-on STEM experience! 😋🥞

🌼🎈 Science came to life at RB Stewart Middle DELTA Academy! 🎈🌼

Our Summer Camp students had an exciting visit from Gabbi Adventures, where they explored biology through the interactive "Pollen Collector" activity! Using balloons and static electricity, students raced to collect as much "pollen" as they could in a fun, glitter-filled challenge. 🌸⚡

The learning continued with a lively game of Heads Up, where students identified different weather types and biomes while reinforcing what they had learned. 🌦️🌎

It was a day filled with hands-on learning, teamwork, friendly competition, and lots of smiles! 💙✨

Our Summer Camp students had a sweet time with Chef It Up! They baked cinnamon buns and created fruit pizza while practicing measuring, following recipes, and working together in the kitchen. 🍕✨

Our students put their engineering skills to the test during the Straw Tower STEM Challenge! Using only straws and teamwork, they designed and built towers while practicing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

🤖🚀 Robotics came to life at RB Stewart Middle DELTA Academy! 🚀🤖

MOSI stopped by for an exciting, hands-on robotics experience that introduced students to how robots are used today—and how they'll shape the future! Students explored the BEAMS of a robot:

🧠 Brain
⚡ Energy
🦾 Anatomy
🏃 Movement
👀 Sensors

They also discovered the 5 Ds of Robotics and learned how robots are designed to take on tasks that are:

🔹 Dull
🔹 Difficult
🔹 Dirty
🔹 Discovery-driven
🔹 Dangerous

To top it all off, students had an amazing time exploring and interacting with BB robots, putting their new robotics knowledge into action through hands-on learning!

Our students were excited to welcome back The Color Express for another incredible AI-powered art experience! Using AI technology, a computer created personalized line-art designs inspired by each student, and they brought their unique creations to life with vibrant watercolors. 🖌️✨

This hands-on activity combined technology and creativity, giving students the opportunity to express themselves while exploring the exciting possibilities of AI in art. The smiles, imagination, and colorful masterpieces made for an unforgettable day! 💙🌈

🎶🥁 The beat was in the building at RB Stewart Middle DELTA! 🥁🎸

The Giving Tree stopped by to share the joy of music with our students! Students worked with Mr. Steve to keep the rhythm going as they followed his lead and discovered the fun of making music together.

Mr. Philip amazed everyone by playing the guitar and harmonica at the same time while singing “Blue Suede Shoes” by Elvis Presley! 🎤🎵

It was a fun-filled day of music, movement, and memories! 💙✨
