NPSD SOAR Charter MS Vision: Students at SOAR (School of Options & Applied Research) are engaged in a world of academic

At SOAR Middle School, we help each student reach his/her full potential so they become independent, lifelong learners who take responsibility for themselves, for their classmates and for their surrounding environment. During their educational journey, students will lay the foundation to become 21st century thinkers with higher-order critical thinking, analytical and collaborative learning skills.

On this path of self-improvement and self-discovery, they learn that they are not alone and that encouraging, supporting and working together with other learners not only leads to success for themselves, but for their classmates and their society as well. As they grow to understand their connection to, and responsibility for, their world, their appreciation for the gifts others have to offer is increased. Our 21st century curriculum is interdisciplinary, project-based, connected to the community, and globally aware. The curriculum incorporates higher order thinking skills, multiple intelligences, technology and multimedia, the multiple literacies of the 21st century, and authentic assessments. Fall Sports Registration is now open!! An email blast was sent out July 8th with all the information and instructions to register.

Please remember that a Household Verification Form, Sports Physical (or alternate year card if applicable), and player fee need to be completed as well.

Fall PAC (Parent-Athlete-Coach) Meeting is July 28th at Northland Pines MS/HS at 5:30 for BOTH parents and athletes!

Fall sports are just around the corner! 🦅

Join us for our Fall Sports Parent-Athlete-Coach (PAC) Meeting on Tuesday, July 28, from 5:30–6:30 PM at the middle/high school. Families will receive a general athletics overview with Mr. Walsh in the auditorium, followed by sport-specific meetings, and wrap up the evening by meeting with our new Activities Director, Mr. Walsh, at an ice cream social.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and kicking off another great fall season! 🍦🏃‍♀️🏃🏈⚽🏐📣
