Take Stock in Children Pasco County Pasco Education Foundation’s Take Stock in Children is recruiting mentors & investors! Over 7,500 mentors have volunteered with our program.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and the only college attainment focused mentoring program of its kind in Florida. Take Stock in Children is the only college attainment focused mentoring program of its kind in Florida and is a significant contributor to education reform and student success. Since its inception in 1995, Take Stock in Children has positively impacted the lives of over 19,

000 children statewide throughout 67 counties. In Pasco County, Take Stock in Children has awarded close to $2.5MM in scholarship funds. Take Stock in Children, Pasco County is proud to have graduated over 450 children considered ‘high-risk’ of drop-out, and currently has a success rate of 96%.
