Today our 2nd graders proudly shared their final projects from their EPCOT ALU! Students designed and built their own amusement park rides focused on force and motion, while also connecting their learning to U.S. History and immigration through Ellis Island. We loved seeing such a creative combination of science, engineering, and social studies all come together in one project.
Students also had the opportunity to share their creations with our 1st graders and answer questions about both their projects and what to expect in 2nd grade. It was wonderful watching our students share their learning, experiences, and excitement with one another. We love seeing collaboration and curiosity come to life at SMES!
