Wednesday Night OWCP Chats with Chris & Gini

For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of serving injured federal employees. Somewhere along the way, it became much more than a career. It became a calling. And many of the people I met along that journey became family.

I’ve watched federal employees fight through pain, uncertainty, financial hardship, and some of the darkest moments of their lives.

I’ve watched them refuse to quit when quitting would have been easier. I’ve watched them keep going when everything around them told them to stop. I’ve watched them find strength they didn’t know they had.

Those people changed me. They taught me what courage looks like. They taught me what faith looks like. They taught me what perseverance looks like, and they taught me that when someone you care about is hurting, you don’t run from the fight. YOU RUN TOWARDS IT.

YOU RUN TOWARDS IT.

That’s why I’ve dedicated my life to this mission. Because these aren’t just people I’ve helped. These aren’t just people who attend trainings, watch OWCP Chats, listen to podcasts, or send me messages. These are people whose stories have become part of my own. These are people I’ve laughed with, cried with, prayed with, celebrated with, and fought beside.

To me, they are family, and I believe family comes with obligations. Family shows up. Family stands together. Family doesn’t disappear when things get hard. Family doesn’t abandon each other when the road gets rough. Family is worth fighting for. Family fights!

So to every federal employee, every family member, every supporter, every friend, and every person who has trusted me over the years, I want you to know this: My commitment to you has not changed. My belief in this mission has not changed. And my love for this community has not changed.

As long as there are injured federal employees who need hope, education, guidance, or someone willing to stand in their corner, I will continue answering that call - Not because it’s easy. Not because it’s convenient. But because that’s what family does.

And I will fight for my family for as long as God gives me the strength to do so.

I’m still breathing.

Letting everyone know. We do not have our podcast camera. It had to be sent out to Cannon to fix a broken wire. So we will return June 24th. Crossing my fingers we get it back by then. We didn’t like that way last weeks chats turned out with our laptop camera.
