The Bible tells us that there is a time for everything. There is a time to work hard at school and push toward your goals. But there is also a time to rest, to celebrate and to enjoy being young! Your teenage years and summers off don’t last forever. So now is the time to make them count and to make sure you have great memories to look back on. So, soak it in, make it valuable and laugh a LOT! And remember that every time is a good time to be near to God, so as you celebrate this summer, take the time to Thank Him for all of the good things in your life. He has been so good to us!💜

The Bible paints a clear picture of God’s people as people who are always seeking wisdom and are always willing to learn from those around them. Women of God are women who embrace instruction rather than resisting it. So once the dust from final exams settles, find a leader in your life who you trust. Ask her if she has any thoughts that would make your life or your relationship with God even more amazing and then put those thoughts into action!

✨ Encouragement:
If I had a nickel for every time a young lady has told me “I just don’t get along with other girls; they’re too much drama!” then I would be rich enough to bribe all of you to prioritize female friends. The Bible makes it very clear; God wants us to live life in community. He created us to need each other. He says that it is not good for us to be alone. And yet we so often choose to pass on friendships because we’ve been burnt by fake friends in the past, because we’re preoccupied with the guy we’re dating or because we’re too busy with our own lives to make time for others. But you are robbing yourself of a million amazing moments, plus so many awesome laughs and honest confessions. Throughout your life, you will be more satisfied, fulfilled and a better quality woman yourself if you take the time to find awesome, quality women to surround yourself with. So, take some time this month to hang out with the awesome girlfriends you have and to start building relationships with some new ones. In friendships, as in any relationship, we have a chance to live like Jesus and to do life the way He planned for us to. So don’t miss it!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL TREASURED GIRLS🎄

Treasured Girls This is something sacred to remember:
But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call Him Jesus.” “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. Luke 1:30-31 & 38

We think Mary is one of the coolest women in the whole Bible. Did you know most Bible scholars believe she was only about 16 years old when God called her to be the mother of Jesus? Those were different times and a 16 year old was of age to be married and start a family. But still, a daunting task for a young girl. We love the guts Mary shows by saying yes. In this season, take a cue from the mother of Jesus and say YES to the things God wants to do in your heart & life.

Maybe it’s volunteering at your church or helping someone you know could use a friend or forgiving a person who’s hurt you. Say YES to God in this Christmas Season & watch what happens when you let the Savior enter your story! Make sure to let a leader know what you’re saying YES to so that they can be praying for you.

HERE IS ‘SOMETHING SACRED’ TO CONSIDER 💜

“Have I not commanded you? Be Strong and Courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

How much more courageous would we be if we remembered every day that God is with us wheerever we go? Try carrying something with you everyday as a reminder that God is right there. It could be a bracelet or ring you wear, or you could put this verse as a screensaver on your phone-anything to remind yourself that God is with you!

💜TREASURED GIRLS - HERE IS ‘SOMETHING SACRED’ TO CONSIDER

Confess to God what things you’ve tried to use to quench your thirst. What have you tried to find power in other than Him? Clothes? Guys? Popularity? Perfectionism as a student? What area do you need to turn from to walk closer to the True Source of refreshing your life?💜
