🌿 Celebrating the Life of Maria Montessori 🌿

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Maria Montessori, a remarkable woman whose vision transformed education around the world. Born on August 31, 1870, in Italy, Maria Montessori became one of the first women in Italy to earn a medical degree.

Through her work with children, she discovered the incredible potential within every child. She developed an educational approach based on respect, independence, observation, hands-on learning, and allowing children to learn at their own pace.

Her philosophy reminds us that children are capable, curious, and naturally motivated to learn when they are given the right environment and the freedom to explore.

More than a century later, her legacy continues to inspire teachers, families, and children around the world. 🌎💚

Today, we honor Maria Montessori not only by remembering her life, but by continuing to believe in the potential of every child.

🧼✨ Learning About Personal Hygiene! ✨🧼
This week, our students had the opportunity to learn about the importance of personal hygiene and how taking care of our bodies helps us stay healthy, clean, and feel our best! 🪥🧴🧼

Through fun, hands-on activities and meaningful conversations, we learned about washing our hands, brushing our teeth, taking baths, keeping our hair clean, covering our coughs and sneezes, and taking care of ourselves every day. 💦🫧

Our little learners discovered that personal hygiene is not only about being clean it is also an important part of self-care, independence, responsibility, and caring for others. 💕🌱
We are so proud of everything they learned and the wonderful questions they asked along the way! And, of course, we learned so much more through our classroom activities, exploration, and everyday Montessori experiences. 🌎✨

Hello, Montessori Families! 💛

This week was filled with meaningful learning and exploration as our children discovered more about our emotions and how to care for our bodies through good hygiene. 🧠💧🧼

Through hands-on Montessori experiences and thoughtful conversations, the children learned to recognize and express their feelings while also understanding the importance of healthy hygiene habits in their daily lives.

A very special thank you to our friends at BayCare for visiting us and teaching our children about their Hi gene! Program We truly appreciate the time, care, and knowledge you shared with our little learners. 🌟

We are so proud of our children for being curious, engaged, and eager to learn! 🌱✨

Welcome to Our First Week of School
¡Bienvenidos a nuestra primera semana de clases! 💕✨

We are so excited to begin a new school year filled with learning, growth, friendship, and wonderful memories.

This week, we focused on getting to know ourselves and our feelings. Our children explored different emotions, learned how to recognize and express how they feel, and discovered that all feelings are important and it is okay to feel them. Through stories, conversations, activities, and our Montessori classroom routines, we practiced kindness, grace and courtesy, and ways to care for ourselves and our friends.

What a beautiful start to our 2026–2027 school year! We look forward to all the wonderful learning and adventures ahead! 🌈💛

Another unforgettable week at **Bexley Montessori School Summer Camp!** 🌟

Our campers became young explorers as they mixed, created, observed, and discovered the magic of science through fun, hands-on experiments. Every activity encouraged curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning just the Montessori way! 💡🔍

💦 We wrapped up the week in the best way possible—with our favorite **Water Day!** Nothing beats ending an amazing week with laughter, sunshine, and lots of splashes! ☀️🌈

Thank you to our wonderful campers for making **Discovery Lab Week** such a success. We can't wait for next week's adventure!
