It is time to celebrate our 40+1 Reunion.

We plan to get together several times over the weekend outside the official college events:
* Casual drop by on Friday, October 15 from 6-? at the bar at the Marriott downtown Lancaster
* Enjoy the Beer Garden with your classmates on Saturday, October 16 from 6-? at Wynridge Farm Lancaster Tasting Room and Beer Garden at 389 Harrisburg Avenue, Lancaster.

Hotels are filling up. Get your reservations soon.

We will celebrate our 40+1 Reunion this year during Reunion/Homecoming/Parents Weekend October 15-17.

Right now we will have a casual drop-in at the Marriott bar on Friday night. We did that for our 35th and we had a nice group of people drop by.

We are still working on details for a Saturday night dinner with the Class of 1981. We are looking at a downtown venue.

I hope you will join us. Make your reservations now as hotel rooms are filling up fast. There is a big music festival in Lancaster that weekend too.

As you may have learned by now F&M has made careful plans to bring some students back to campus this fall. Please see the school website for more details.

That said, our in-person reunion is delayed until 2021. There will be a virtual event this year and we will share more details as we get them.

While it would be wonderful to get together this year, it is best to keep everyone as safe as possible. Mark your calendars for next fall - October 15-17, 2021.

We are looking for committee members to help organize our Reunion and encourage classmates to attend. We will have a few phone calls to make plans. It is easy and lots of fun.

Most importantly, please plan on attending True Blue Weekend for our 40th Reunion October 30-November 1, 2020.

Dear friends,
Tomorrow, November 28, is Giving Tuesday. I hope you will join me in making a donation to a charity that is close to your heart. Statistically, we are one of the most generous nations in the world and the many disasters and tragedies this year have shown just how giving we can be.
Giving Tuesday is especially significant this year because it helps us remember what the holiday season is all about – helping others and remembering those who are no longer with us. One of the many charities close to my heart is Franklin & Marshall College because of the impact it had on me as a student, the friendships made over the years, and the assistance the Alumni Advising office provided during my recent job hunt.
This year I will give my donation to F&M in memory of my parents who provided me with the opportunity to attend my beloved college. They taught me the importance of giving back through volunteering, annual donations and a career of more than 25 years in non-profit fundraising.
Please make a donation tomorrow to your favorite charity and kick off your holiday season by helping others.

Hello F&M Classmates near and far,
Our reunion is a great opportunity to renew friendships with each other and with the college. If you will be in Lancaster this weekend we look forward to seeing you. If you can't make it, please plan on joining us in 5 years for our 40th.

The reunion committee met many times over the last year via conference call and thoroughly enjoyed the wise cracks of Jay Epstein, Mark Feinroth, and Jim Lemonick. Kathy Harring, Reed Auerbach, Eileen Schon Robin and Denise King Gillingham kept us on track and the F&M Alumni Office is the best. You can help plan the next reunion.
