Oops! Decades of camping and we forgot the first rule of camping - secure your food from the wildlife. It seems we forgot to put the bread in a secure location andsome raccoons or other night bandits thought it smelled really tasty.

The Stool is ready to serve it's secondary purpose as a by the bed in the tent nightstand. Tomorrow is student day, and the weekend is Muster on the St. Mary's. The stool really gets around.

Two weekends ago our tent (with two beds & plenty of wool blankets) was called "glamping at it's finest." I do not think that means what you think it means. If we were "glamping," the tent would be a lot more temperature controlled.🤣

Our heartfelt condolences. It is difficult to put into words how the loss of someone who has influenced us so much in our growth as a unit, but whom we have never met in person, affects us all. Our unit has grown and learned from those who started before us. We have long followed and respected Larry Peterka, Hauptmann of Das Teufels Alpdrücken Fahnlein. Without knowing it, he and his family have shaped much in the U.S. contingent of landsknecht organizations. Larry, you led the way for so many, and you will be missed.
