Beekeepers - this is a link to county document mentioned at this months meeting.

Please note that this appears to be a proposal, not a final ordinance. Questions and inquiries on how this impacts local beekeepers should be directed to the county.

Lancaster County adopted its current Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) on November 28, 2016. Since its adoption, County staff and the development community have identified various issues within the UDO and, while some problems have been addressed during this time, many remain.

If you were unable to attend last night’s club meeting - YOU MISSED OUT!

Trish Thompson of Pollen Peddlers provided a fantastic program and demonstration on apitherapy.
We had over 50 guests in attendance, an epic spread on the refreshment table, and a drool-worthy line up of items on the raffle table.

Thank you to all that attended, participated, and donated - YOU made last night special!

And here it is your bloom calendar for May! What an unusual year so far in terms of weather — don't forget to water your bees as well as your garden! 🔥 💦
Don't be surprised if those blooms fall early. It's how they survive in drought conditions. Enjoy the start of the harvest 🐝 🍯

As ever many thanks to Ridgewood Apiary.
